Is this always a good thing?

The idea of anyone being able to create a website brings great freedom to the internet with some risk and even some harm. Meaning that Joe the Plumber could create a cheap easy website for himself without spending thousands of dollars and being able to increase his clientele or client base. However, this person could also damage themself by creating a website that does not look very good and does more harm to the overall reputation than good. Parents can create a website of their kids for grandparents who live far distances for a lot less than printing and mailing pictures, and making it instant for the grandparents to keep in touch and watch their grandchildren grow. So as with all things, the positives far outweigh the negatives, and allow us another freedom of information.
